A sepia-toned photograph of a rugby team, sixteen older boys in three rows, their dark jerseys covered with light-coloured laced vests, their light-coloured pants calf-length, the stockings and boots dark, the shin-guards lighter in colour, the photo inscribed "T.C.S. 1st XV, 1895." at bottom plus the names of those pictured, including Robert Dunsmuir Harvey at right end of middle row, the photographer's name, E.T. Hamly at bottom left corner.Narrative
Robert Dunsmuir Harvey excelled in athletics while attending Trinity College School (T.C.S) in Port Hope, Ontario from 1891-1896. He was born in Nanaimo, B.C. in 1878, and died in Secunderabad, India in 1901. He was only 21.
Robert Dunsmuir Harvey's brother James Swan Harvey was also a student Trinity College School. The elite institution was founded in 1865 and is still in operation. History of Use
